1998
In 1998 Offenhauser shipped both the Longest and the Heaviest Vessels in the Company's History.
The Longest Vessel which had an overall length of 162' measured 7'6" ID and weighed 150,000 lbs.  long98.jpg (36429 bytes)
The Heaviest Vessels weighed 300,000 lbs. each and had an overall length of 146' each.  These Vessels had to be shipped via barge to their destination. heavy98.jpg (36605 bytes)
Also in 1998 saw the fabrication of the first 20' length of pipe (in one piece without girth weld). With the installation of custom forming dies and modifications of  the welding equipment for 20' travel, Offenhauser now has the capability to fabricate 20' pipe in diameters ranging from 6" to 20" in certain wall thicknesses.

July, 1997
Offenhauser ships heaviest wall thickness in their history.
In July Offenhauser completed and shipped a 2 7/8" thick wall high alloy reactor.  Destined for use in the Northern U.S.A., the Reactor is 74" I.D.  x   40' T/T. july97.jpg (33961 bytes)

Offenhauser ships Heaviest Vessel to date.
In June Offenhauser shipped a trayed tower weighing over 250,000 lbs. to a client in Kansas.

The Tower was 108" I.D.  X   129' in length.  Fabricated from solid 304L Stainless Steel, it was designed for low temperature service.
